Llandovery Tape Archives Vol.1 is a collaborative remix project featuring artists Jack Rees, Gary-Martin and Leigh Davies. The music is a result of sampling and remixing tapes sent out to collaborators from the archive, and then recorded back onto the tapes themselves.
Llandovery Tape Archive is a cassette tape library and plunderphonic upcycling project, using Junior Reasearcher Jack Rees’s Grandparent’s cassettes as its source. The archive contains over 1000 recordings of choral music, things taped off the radio, audiobooks, magazine tapes, and more.
