Running a Co-op Label, 2021

This guide is the result of a R&D project investigating alternative ownership and economic models for record labels. Through collaboration between Gary-Martin, Jack Rees, and Rory Coughlan-Allen, existing label structures were critiqued and reimagined by experimenting with resource sharing, time-banking, and democratic decision-making.

The zine acts as a template for running a co-operative record label, and was used as a working model to produce a series of recorded music releases in 2021.
